On November 11, 2025, our school successfully launched the Incense Tree Conservation Scheme on Campus. The Scheme was co-organised by the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and our school's Green Education Team. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to CUHK for providing us with invaluable learning opportunities to conserve this endangered Incense Tree species.
Eighteen S3–S5 students have been selected as Incense Tree Conservation Ambassadors. They learned about conservation knowledge and the STEAM principles behind the planting. The Ambassadors successfully planted three Incense Trees during the opening ceremony on November 11. They are now responsible for regularly watering the trees and tracking their growth. They will also be invited to share the conservation message with schoolmates in the near future. The trees are currently located at the back of the tuck shop area. Every school member is invited to visit them and read the related information on the foam boards. It will be amazing to watch them grow day by day. Let's take action to conserve endangered species and protect our natural environment!
